Nanette McKay

Director of Training

It was a love of discovery and learning that drew Nanette to a career in education. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Master’s Degree in Vocational Education from the University of Pittsburgh.

Nanette has developed curricula for and taught multiple high school classes in her 34 years as an educator. Always a student advocate, Nanette volunteered her time to a local Student Assistance Program, helping to identify and assist at-risk students. She has also served on multiple committees for various school districts, in addition to being a life-time member of the Pennsylvania State Education Association.

Nanette grew up in a close-knit Pennsylvania town, where she learned the importance of not only having a community, but also playing an active part in it. Making a difference in the lives of family, friends and neighbors is something that she has valued from an early age and she always has applied those values in her classroom. Her commitment and skill have shown in the successes of her many students and continue with her work with Think More — React Less™.
